New to PBC

Welcome to Pioneer Bible Church!
If you have been visiting for a few weeks, we hope that you like what you see and hear at our Sunday Morning services. We encourage you, however, to progress to a place where you feel like you “belong” at Pioneer Bible Church. This may take some initiative on your part….and we’d like to give you some tips to help make that happen.

The first and foremost way to get plugged in is to join one of the small groups who meet throughout the week. By exploring this website and reading the weekly bulletin distributed during church services, you will see that there are many opportunities: men’s Bible studies, women’s Bible studies, adult Sunday School classes, home groups, and ministry events scattered throughout the year. All of these settings are smaller, more interactive groups and offer opportunity to share our lives with one another. Be on the lookout for one of our “Newcomers Luncheons”, which we hold several times a year—and make that an event that you are sure to attend!

Another way to rub elbows and get to know one another is through volunteering. Pioneer Bible Church has many ministries which serve those in our church, our community and beyond. Without serving volunteers, none of these ministries would exist. It may be splitting and delivering wood, handing out food, joining a building project here or in Mexico, teaching children in Sunday School or AWANA…..the list goes on!

Frequently Asked Questions

Membership

Q: How do I become a member?

A: The Pastor and Elders want to talk to you about your faith in Christ for salvation.

Giving

Q: Why isn’t an offering plate passed?

A: We want your giving to be thoughtful and willing, not pressured in any way. So we rarely pass a plate to receive an offering.

How do I give?

We have boxes on the wall near the doors of the auditorium that you may put your offering into.

Baptism

Q: Am I required to be baptized?

A: We do not believe that you are required to be baptized to be saved, nor to worship with us.

Q: If I’d like to be baptized, how do I go about it?

A: Just talk to a pastor, they will help you with your questions.

Communion

Q: When is communion celebrated and who may participate?

A: We observe communion on the first Sunday of each month. We invite anyone who knows Jesus Christ as their Savior to participate in the Lord’s Supper.
